The current modern Banco Court in Sydney is located in the Law Courts Building, which opened in 1977. This building serves as the main courtroom where the Chief Justice holds ceremonial sittings and conducts important court proceedings. The modern court is situated on level 13 of the Law Courts Building, which accommodates the High Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia, and the Supreme Court of NSW.

The former Banco Court is a heritage-listed courthouse at St James Road, Sydney, Australia. It was designed by Walter Liberty Vernon and built from 1895 to 1896. It forms part of the historic complex known sometimes as the "St James Law Courts" or the "King Street Courts".
